Baked Chocolate Doughnuts

Hey There!

After viewing our cabinets in search of chocolate and not finding much, I decided to bake something mega chocolatey – and then I remembered we haven’t had doughnuts in a while. 😉 I used this Baked Chocolate Donuts Recipe, and it is phenomenal! I made these doughnuts Gluten-free, as I do with all of my baked goods, and the chocolate flavor masked the taste of the GF flour really well. The consistency of the doughnut was perfect: fluffy, but still thick. I highly recommend this recipe to anyone with a major love for chocolate! 😛

I used the glaze recipe included, and it was delicious!

I had loads of fun decorating them!

In the end, they taste amazing – you can’t go wrong with such a high concentration of chocolate! 😉😋

Cinnamon Snowball Cookies

Hey There!

I recently was flipping through my new baking book, Sally’s Cookie Addiction, and found a recipe that caught my eye – cinnamon snowball cookies! These cookies look awesome, and taste even better!

I made these cookies Gluten-Free, and the flour worked well. The texture and flavor remained the same as if I had made them with wheat flour. I had a lot of fun making these, especially coating them with powdered sugar! 😉

Blueberry Covered Cheesecake

Hey There!

I love cheesecake. It is a favorite of my family’s, and making it is super fun!

For my Sister’s Birthday, I made a Captain America Shield Cheesecake, and she loved it. The recipe is so amazing – creamy and delicious! In fact, the recipe is so good, I made it again for a family Christmas gathering: it was a hit! I really like the methods used in this Perfect Cheesecake Recipe; they help it from cracking. 🙂

I normally cover to top of my cheesecakes with cherry pie filling (unless I make a design like the Captain America cake), but this time I thought blueberry would be a delicious variation! I tried a marbling technique, and am super pleased with how it turned out, plus it was fun. To complete my cheesecake, I had no other choice but to do something very violent: I whipped some cream! 😉 If you love cheesecake, I highly recommend this recipe with a fruit topping!

I made this Gluten Free by making the crust with GF graham crackers. I think the crust has a delicious taste, and is wonderful for those with allergies.

Coffee Cake

Hey There!

When I bake, I normally make desserts, such as layered cakes or cupcakes. But sometimes it’s nice to have some baked goods in the morning for breakfast. I was perusing Blog of All Trades and came across this Coffee Cake Recipe. The Cake pictured made my mouth water! It is delicious – the cake was light and fluffy without being too sweet, the crust on top was amazing, and the glaze was foolproof. My family and I enjoyed eating some for breakfast with a cup of milk!

I made my coffee cake Gluten Free, due to some allergies in my family. This cake expertly masked the GF flour taste that comes out sometimes in baked goods. This cake is perfect for breakfast, dessert, or bringing to someone’s house! ❤

I also got to test out some new baking supplies! 😉

Key Lime Pie!

Hello!

I love experimenting with baking. Trying new things is exciting! I was looking through one of my favorite baking books, Sally’s Baking Addiction by Sally McKenney and spotted a key lime pie recipe. It looked delicious, and I decided to go for it and have fun.

I made the pie crust with Gluten Free graham crackers, and it tasted just like a regular pie crust. It had the same texture, and was deliciously buttery! 😛

This key lime pie is SPECTACULAR! It has just the right amount of zing from the lime without being too overpowering. The pie has an incredible creamy consistency that leaves you wanting more! ❤ I am positive I will be using this recipe more in the future. 😉

Glazed Vanilla Doughnuts

Hi There!

I love doughnuts. Who doesn’t? Some of my family members are Gluten Free, so they don’t get to have doughnuts very often. That’s where baking comes in! 😉

I decided to try and make some simple Glazed Vanilla Doughnuts with GF flour. I am very pleased to say that they turned out well! My family loved them, and they were super easy to make. 😛 I had fun making the different glaze colors, and enjoyed eating the finished product, too! 😀

Recently, we celebrated my Dad’s Birthday! 😀 Since I like cooking and baking, I of course wanted to make his cake. My Dad loves Ice Cream, so it seemed like a good idea to make him an Ice Cream Cake! 😉

Due to allergies, I looked up a Gluten Free Ice Cream Cake Recipe, and found a delicious one. It turned out really well, and was super fun to make! 😛 Along with my New Baking Supplies, my sister also got me some edible glitter! I decided to put on some silver glitter for an extra sparkle. 😉 This cake was delicious! Happy Birthday, Daddy! 😀

Peanut Butter & Jelly Cupcakes

Hi There! ❤

Whenever I watch baking competition shows, the contestants almost always fill the inside of their cupcakes with something interesting. I’ve never done that before. And so, feeling very ambitious one day, I decided to try it. That’s when I made these delicious PB&J cupcakes. I made Simple Vanilla Cupcakes, filled the inside with some tart jelly, and made peanut butter frosting for the top. 😛

Due to family allergies, I made these cupcakes Gluten Free. Also, one of my family members can’t have peanut butter, due to an extremely severe allergy. My family found out about a peanut butter substitute, called Wowbutter. I used this instead for the icing, and it worked perfectly, as if there wasn’t even a difference. ❤ This is DEFINITELY one of my favorite Frosting Recipes.

My family said that they tasted very good, but that they needed more jelly inside. Now I know what to do in the future! 😉 I am so happy with how these cupcakes turned out. 🙂

Coffee Cake Doughnuts

Hi there!

I love coffee cake. It is delicious! But unfortunately, due to some family allergies, we don’t eat coffee cake very much. I had just gotten a doughnut pan, and really wanted to use it for something… naturally, I therefore decided to make coffee cake doughnuts! 😛

I made these Gluten-Free, and they tasted delicious! The icing recipe that was included with the Doughnut Recipe was just as delicious. These doughnuts were a hit and super fun to make! 😀
