Peanut Butter Truffles (Allergy Friendly)

Hey There!

I love peanut butter. It goes with sweet or salty foods, and it stops me from getting hungry. Peanut butter desserts are even better! However, a family member in my house is allergic to peanuts, so she can’t have peanut butter cups or truffles – so I decided to make some allergy-friendly ones specially for her!
I used a peanut butter substitute* that tastes exactly like peanut butter. You could hardly tell the difference. I used this Peanut Butter Truffle Recipe for the first time, and I loved it! The texture was smooth, and the flavor was amazing! Everyone in my family enjoyed them, and I had a lot of fun making them. 😀

Homemade Peanut Butter Cups (Peanut Allergy Safe)

Hey There!

My sister has a peanut allergy that developed when she was little. So, she can’t have peanut butter – instead, we use a peanut butter substitute*. I felt bad to be eating peanut butter cups in front of her, knowing she wanted some. So, when I got the book Sally’s Baking Addiction by Sally McKenney and saw the recipe for peanut butter cups (which called for regular peanut butter), I decided I had to make a peanut-free version for my sister! ❤
I LOVE how these turned out! They taste just like popularly sold peanut butter cups, but better because they’re homemade. 😉 Next time, I will probably make them thinner, as the chocolate sort of broke off instead of melting due to the thickness. Overall, I loved these delicious chocolatey goods turned out. 🙂

Peanut Butter & Jelly Cupcakes

Hi There! ❤

Whenever I watch baking competition shows, the contestants almost always fill the inside of their cupcakes with something interesting. I’ve never done that before. And so, feeling very ambitious one day, I decided to try it. That’s when I made these delicious PB&J cupcakes. I made Simple Vanilla Cupcakes, filled the inside with some tart jelly, and made peanut butter frosting for the top. 😛

Due to family allergies, I made these cupcakes Gluten Free. Also, one of my family members can’t have peanut butter, due to an extremely severe allergy. My family found out about a peanut butter substitute, called Wowbutter. I used this instead for the icing, and it worked perfectly, as if there wasn’t even a difference. ❤ This is DEFINITELY one of my favorite Frosting Recipes.

My family said that they tasted very good, but that they needed more jelly inside. Now I know what to do in the future! 😉 I am so happy with how these cupcakes turned out. 🙂
