I Pour Out My Heart To You

LORD, I pour out my heart to You, asking for forgiveness,

LORD, I pour out my heart to You, grateful for Your goodness.

LORD, I pour out my heart to You, God, You are my core:

LORD, I pour out my heart to You, for the life I’m thankful for!

LORD, You are so good! You are my Rock!

LORD, You are the Good Shepherd, watching out for Your flock.

LORD, I pour out my heart to You, now and forever!

LORD, I pour out my heart to You, sweet Jesus my Savior!

Living the Sweet Life

God’s Gifts

How God works no one can truly see;

though outside it may be gloomy, He uses rain for His Glory:

a girl who is stressed with everyday life

can find joy in the rain, relieving her strife.

A man who can’t sleep because of the hurt

sees bright stars out the window, bringing comfort.

A hungry stray cat no longer must roam

and brings happiness to a sad family’s home.

God is truly great, bringing gifts from above

though they may be confusing, they show His great love. ❤

Wind

Whispering through my hair, gently kissing my cheek is an adventurous friend whom I call the air.

The wind tells stories, quietly spreading the secrets of old, and suddenly bursting in great wafts of cold.

High on the branches, I feel the chilled breeze, as my fingers are cold, my mind feels at ease.

“The LORD is worthy,” the wind is heard saying, “Sing to Him, good servants, on bended knee.”

The Redeemer Poem

Come to me, and I will grant you rest,

For I see you are weary.

Come to me, and I will provide,

For I see you are are needy.

For I am the Redeemer, You are the Redeemed,

I am the Savior, You are the Freed.

Come to me, and I will restore you,

For I see you are drained.

Come to me, and I will comfort you,

For I see you are stressed.

For I am the Redeemer, You are the Redeemed,

I am the Savior, You are the Freed.

Come to me with burdens,

And I will lighten you,

Come to me with struggles,

and I will guide you:

For I am the Redeemer, You are the Redeemed,

I am the Savior, You are the Freed.

Happiness Poem

Each time a friend says hello,

every time a sibling grins,

that’s when happiness starts to glow.

When sunshine gleams,

or rain falls down,

happiness ignites bright daydreams.

When leaves start changing,

and days go by,

happiness brings joy to your heartstrings.

Happiness does not come with fortune,

though it may last a little while,

true joy comes with God the Father’s only Son.

When Christ plants happiness in your heart,

it’s hard not to be kind to others;

and to fear the LORD is to be quite smart.

Thankful Poem

There is always something to be thankful for,

Even if you have bad health,

Even if you’re very poor

And do not have a large wealth.

Be thankful for the sun and moon,

Be thankful for the flowers new,

Be thankful for the afternoon,

Be thankful for the morning dew.

Be thankful for food to eat,

Be thankful for your husband or wife.

If you have none of these,

Just be thankful for your life.
