Praying Mantis Photos

Hello!

Praying Mantises are such incredible creatures. They really show God’s talent. Did you know that Praying Mantises can grow up to 15 centimeters long? I thank God for all of His incredible creations! ❤

Pachycephalosaurus by Richard Armour

Among the later dinosaurs

Though not the largest, strongest,

PACHYCEPHALOSAURUS had

The name that was the longest.

Yet he had more than syllables,

As you may well suppose.

He had great knobs upon his cheeks

And spikes upon his nose.

Ten inches thick, atop his head,

A bump of bone projected.

By this his brain, though hardly worth

Protecting, was protected.

No claw or tooth, no tree that fell

Upon his head kerwhacky,

Could crack or crease or jar or scar

That stony part of Paky.

And so he nibbled plants in peace

And lived untroubled days.

Sometimes, in fact, as Paky proved,

To be a bonehead pays.

Crochet Fox Hat

Hello!

I love animals, any kind. But there is a certain cuteness to woodland animals, such as bunnies, deer, and foxes. I love crocheting hats – particularly animal hats – and decided a fox would be a good addition to my collection.

I found the Crocheted Fox Hat Pattern on Ravelry, a knit and crochet community that is super helpful with finding patterns and yarn. Searching through my gigantic bin of yarn ( all wound into balls with a Yarn Ball Winder ), I found two old skeins of glittery, fluffy, orange yarn: perfect for a fox hat! I immediately set to work on August 20, 2018. I have now finished the hat on August 21, 2018. 😉 It was super fun.

Meet Rainbow!

Tearing off the wrapping paper on Christmas a few years ago, I unwrapped a Crochet Amigurumi book. Immediately flipping through the pages to see what I could create, I spotted a unicorn.

Sometime later, in the yarn isle of the store, an interesting blue cotton yarn caught my attention. So, (obviously) I bought it. When I got home, I tried to think of what I could make with my new yarn. Aha! My unicorn! The skein of yarn wasn’t big enough to make the entire body out of, but I decided to do some accents blue, with grey for the main body.

It took me a while to actually start making my unicorn, but once I did, it wasn’t long before my unicorn was finished. The finished product? Meet Rainbow!
