Meet Lava the Lion!

Hey There!

After finishing crocheting Lilac the Bear, I decided to make another friend for all of my crocheted critters: meet Lava the lion! ❤ Lava measures about 7 ½” tall, making him an adorable fun-sized friend. I used the baby lion pattern in The Big Book of Little Amigurumi by Ana Paula Rímoli. I had a lot of fun with this pattern, especially making Lava’s wavy mane! I’m so happy with how Lava turned out, and can’t wait to introduce him to Morton, Olivia, Carrots, Lilac, Bobbles, and Rainbow! 😀

Meet Lilac the Bear!

Hey there!

While watching Calico Star Studio crochet tons of new projects, I decided to pull out my own crochet and make a new little friend! It is my pleasure to introduce Lilac the bear! ❤

I used the pattern for Valentine Bears on pages 10-12 of The Big Book of Little Amigurumi by Ana Paula Rímoli. I found this pattern super cute and easy! I had lots of fun making Lilac and adding the special little touches like her soft green skirt, shiny black eyes, and silky bows. I am super pleased with how she came out, and can’t wait to introduce her to Carrots, Morton, Olivia, Rainbow, and Bobbles! 😉 Welcome, Lilac!

Meet Bobbles!

Hey There!

My favorite thing to crochet is Amigurumi (Amigurumi are basically stuffed animals). I have made several little critters before, such as Olivia the Owl, Carrots the Bunny, and Morton the Octopus. Now, meet Bobbles the Blue Monkey!

I used the Baby Monkey crochet pattern on pages 24-25 in The Big Book of Little Amigurumi by Ana Paula Rímoli. Bobbles is super soft, and I love his long arms! I added a crafting pipe-cleaner into his tail so it is bendable. 😉 I am very pleased with how Bobbles turned out and can’t wait to make him some more friends! 😀

Meet Olivia!

Hey There!

I’ve been enjoying crocheting lots of cute Amigurumi (small stuffed animals). I’ve made Carrots and Morton, and now would like to introduce Olivia the Owl!

I used the pattern on pages 31-32 of The Big Book of Little Amigurumi by Ana Paula Rímoli. Olivia’s approximate height is about 6″. I love Olivia and am very pleased with how she turned out! I love her sweet face and had lots of fun in the process of making her. 😉

Meet Morton!

Hello There!

I had so much fun crocheting Carrots, I wanted to make a friend for her. So, without further ado, meet Morton the Octopus!

I am so happy with how Morton turned out! I love his little smile and all his squishy legs. ❤

I used the adult Octopus pattern from a book called The Big Book of Little Amigurumi, by Ana Paula Rímoli on pages 41-42. Morton’s finished height is about 4 1/2″ tall. 🙂 I had so much fun crocheting him and am glad I have a new friend! 😀
