Meet Lilac the Bear!

Hey there!

While watching Calico Star Studio crochet tons of new projects, I decided to pull out my own crochet and make a new little friend! It is my pleasure to introduce Lilac the bear! ❤

I used the pattern for Valentine Bears on pages 10-12 of The Big Book of Little Amigurumi by Ana Paula Rímoli. I found this pattern super cute and easy! I had lots of fun making Lilac and adding the special little touches like her soft green skirt, shiny black eyes, and silky bows. I am super pleased with how she came out, and can’t wait to introduce her to Carrots, Morton, Olivia, Rainbow, and Bobbles! 😉 Welcome, Lilac!

Meet Carrots!

Hey There! 🙂

I apologize for not posting anything in a while – life has been a bit busy. 😉 Thank you for your patience! Now that summer’s here, I should be able to post more often! Yay! 😛

My older sister loves crocheting, and she works on her projects almost every day (You can find her blog Here). I was inspired by her to crochet something of my own, since I haven’t made anything in a while. I perused some of my crochet pattern books and decided to make an Amigurumi, or small stuffed animal. I spotted the perfect pattern. A baby bunny!

And so Carrots was born! I had so much fun making him, and am working on an underwater friend to keep him company. (Can you guess what animal I’m making next?)

The pattern I used was in a book called The Big Book of Little Amigurumi, by Ana Paula Rímoli. I used the pattern on page 74, Toys In Pajamas. Carrots’ finished height is about   3 1/2″, perfect for a tiny bunny! 🙂
