Fresh Apple Pie-Inspired Slices Recipe

Hello!

Apples are a delicious fruit.  Apple pie is yummy, too! What if you wanted to have apple pie, but healthier? Here is a yummy, healthy, and easy snack to enjoy!

Makes enough for 2 Sliced Apples

Ingredients:

• 2 Apples, Sliced

• 3 1/2 Tsp Brown Sugar

• 1/4 Tsp Cinnamon

• Pinch of Nutmeg

• Pinch of Salt

• Tiny bit of Water, about 1 Tbsp

Go:

Arrange apple slices on a microwave-safe plate so they can cook evenly.  In a small bowl, combine spices and stir.  Sprinkle over top apples.  Sprinkle water over apples and place in microwave.  Cook on high for 4-6 minutes, opening the microwave door when sizzling loudly.  Let cool for about 1 minute.  Devour!
